Who Was Trey?
Trey was a beloved son, brother, and friend — full of life, laughter, and a future full of promise. He was someone who lit up every room he walked into and was deeply loved by everyone who knew him.
Trey lost his life to fentanyl poisoning. Like so many victims of this crisis, he did not know what he was taking. Fentanyl — a synthetic opioid up to 100 times more potent than morphine — is now being found laced into pills, powders, and substances that people never expect to be dangerous.
Trey's death was not just a tragedy — it was a preventable one. That truth is what drives our family and our organization every single day.

The Fentanyl Crisis Is Real — And It's Closer Than You Think
Fentanyl is now the leading cause of death for Americans ages 18–45. It is being pressed into counterfeit pills that look identical to prescription medications — Xanax, Adderall, Percocet — and mixed into other substances without the user's knowledge.
A lethal dose of fentanyl is just 2 milligrams — an amount invisible to the naked eye. There is no safe amount. There is no way to tell by looking. This is why education and awareness are not optional — they are life-saving.

Out of the deepest grief came the clearest purpose — to make sure Trey's death was not in vain.
