Trey — remembered with love

Trey

Forever in our hearts

In His Memory

Born From Love.
Built for Change.

Trey was a beloved son, brother, and friend — full of life, laughter, and a future full of promise. He lost his life to fentanyl poisoning, taken from us far too soon.

Out of grief came purpose. Project Trey was founded to ensure his memory lives on through action — educating youth, supporting families, and advocating for a community where no one has to face this battle alone.

"His memory is the reason we show up every day — for every family, every young person, every community."

— Project Trey Founder

Do you know how many people die every day in the United States from fentanyl?

0

people every single day.

That's one life lost every 6 minutes. Fentanyl is now the leading cause of death for Americans ages 18–45. Project Trey exists to change that number.

What We Stand For

01

Education

We bring substance use awareness directly to schools, families, and communities — equipping people with the knowledge to make informed, life-saving decisions.

02

Prevention

Through outreach programs, workshops, and community events, we work to prevent substance use before it starts — especially among youth.

03

Advocacy

We amplify the voices of those affected by substance use, pushing for policy change, better resources, and a community that supports recovery.

Know the Facts

The Fentanyl Crisis

Education saves lives. Understanding the danger is the first step to prevention.

Authentic vs fake oxycodone M30 tablets containing fentanyl

Beware of the

Counterfeit Killer

  • Fentanyl is 50x more potent than heroin, and 100x more potent than morphine
  • 5 out of 10 fake prescription pills today contain a lethal dose of fentanyl
  • These fake pills are being sold on social media to look like Oxycontin, Percocet, Vicodin, Xanax and Adderall

The Gaps

  • 1 in 4 adolescent overdose deaths have evidence of counterfeit pill use
  • 2 out of 3 adolescent overdose deaths have a bystander present, yet most receive no overdose response
  • 2 milligrams of Fentanyl is enough to kill you
A penny next to a lethal dose of fentanyl — 2 milligrams
Why we fight — the human cost of the fentanyl crisis
  • Prevent Future Loss: Empowering communities with the tools to recognize warning signs and intervene early
  • Demand Accountability: Pushing for lifesaving policy reforms and stricter regulations on illicit substances
  • Shatter Stigma: Replacing shame with science-backed education on substance use disorder and mental health

Angel's Army

United in Loss. Strengthened in Purpose.

Born from the collective grief and determination of bereaved parents, Angel's Army is a compassionate alliance of families who have faced the heart-wrenching reality of losing a child to accidental overdose and fentanyl poisoning.

Project Trey has partnered with Fentanyl Fathers, Victoria's Voice, and Eric's House to bring this powerful presentation directly into schools — because we believe no parent should ever have to join this army.
